I am looking to buy something similar in Belgium in January. May I ask how much you paid for it and whether you bought it from a dealer or privately?

Re: hello i'm a french alfa 166 user--->nefastseven

i bought my car from a privately
i paid it 4000€ but there is some money to spend for this car,i have to buy 2 front tires(150€ x2),i have to buy 2 Wishbones Front Lower(241€ x2) and 2 Wishbones Front upper (80€ x2) so the car will cost around 5000 €,but the dealer sold the car 6000€ i have chance because he lost his job and need money
so i was looking in belgium before buying this 166,and i saw a lot of good car with nice price
you can have 166 2.5 and 3.0 with 80 000 or 120 000 kms and year 99-00 for 6-7000€ don't hesitate to make lower proposals i often propose 6000€ for car which were selling 7-8000€ and the dealer were ok because V6 is difficult to sell

in my car i have no Cd changer,no leather and no NAV,but the low price attract me

i'm looking for a cd changer ,alfa romeo sells it 550€ they are mad

Hi nefastseven,

Superb pictures for a gorgeous car.

I hope that you'll manage to keep it spotless in Paris. (My dad's one, a 156 SW Selespeed, has been damaged so many times in Paris .

Even the front chromed grilled as been cracked by some nutter misunderstanding both concepts: Parking and stock car driving )

Anyway, welcome onboard,

I hope you'll truly enjoy this forum.

A+

Fabrice

Thankyou for the very, very useful info.
Very cheap motoring compared to what I can get here in Australia. This just about has made up my mind so I will likely be going for a V6 166.
