Hello!!

Hey,

Having just got an Alfa Romeo 147 T-spark couple of weeks ago, thought I would join and hopefully get some advice.
Am loving driving it, there aren't many 22 yr old girls I know that drive Alfa's, usually they go for peugeots, how many 206's can there possibly be on the road!!
Apart from the obvious things that a typical girl would like about the care, e.g leathers, climate control, the roman grill (I have been told it was actually inspired by the Roman hats they used to wear, don't know how true that is!!) I am also looking to making some small modifications.
Am not looking to be a boyracer at all, generally I like small neat improvements, but think it def needs lowering slightly, is it just me or do they not sit really high? How much lower would you suggest?
Also, wanted to add spoiler and new exhaust, again some advice on whether or not you think this would look good and what to get would be great.
My older brother was a massive car fanatic (he was more into power cars e.g old BMW's etc) and was always my advice on fixing and improving cars. He was tragically killed in a car accident coming up 2 years ago and am lost without him and really miss his advice, I want to make this car real smart to make him proud of me, sorry if that sounds corny.
Not that I am an expert or anything but it is in really good condition, not hardly a mark inside or out and its an 02 plate, and I like to keep cars immaculate so it is constantly shining!!

Anyway, just wanted to say hi and look forward to any suggestions.

Cheers

Re: Hello!!

Hi Drace, welcome aboard! It seems that you know a thing or two about cars, soon enough we'll be asking for advice!
I'm sure you won't go over the top with the modifications, there are a lot of bad examples out there.Keep it nice and clean, subtle is the way for such a classy car!

Hello Drace,

And Welcome on board,

You are right, I have not seen many twenty-something Women driving an Alfa.

It is a shame because the car is pure style and seduction. So there is something very sexy in seeing a young female adult in one of these cult cars!

Great choice anyway and I hope you will enjoy the delightful drive your car will offer you.

I wish you all the Best and hope you will becone addicted to this great forum, full od interesting news & tips wrapped-up with the typical Alfa-owner enthusiasm!

Re: Hello!!

Thanks for saying hi everyone...I already have become addicted!! have come home early to see if any one has replied lol.
Came across this site by total accident when I googled Alfa Romeo parts, its already been real helpful, and know I am going be getting in trouble at work being on here instead of working!
I am gona get some pics up real soon hopefully, just one small thing I need to do b4 I wana put little Alfie on show (yep I have named him!!)then hopefully over time you'll I can keep showing you small improvements.
And yea, I agree....they are well sexy cars!! Though if budget allowed have seen amazingly smart Alfa's, one day maybe!!
Keep on giving me advice please on any improvements you have made, or think would be nice, it would be real helpful as am unsure of how much exactly to lower the car, don't want it to be turfing up the tar!

Cheers,bye bye x
