<<Hi Everybody!>>

As Dr Nick would say... <<Hi Everybody!>>

I'm here cos my Sprint is in danger!
It's failed the MOT cos of structural rust (how surprising)
and the garage tell me I need a new bonnet, amongst other things.

This forum looks a pretty cool place, quality website too!
Right I'm off to the Parts forum...

Re: <<Hi Everybody!>>

Yeah the heart (and the gf) wants to keep it regardless of cost
But the head says if it's >1K to fix why not get a 145 instead?

...doubt that would turn as many heads tho

Re: <<Hi Everybody!>>

Yes its a pity when they have to go but the 145/146 are also great cars to own we now have 3 in our family and it sure will grow even more. TI.s and Greenclover leafs are the one,s to have!

Yes, the Sprints a classic. The 145/146 are great cars, but the Sprint is timeless

Re: <<Hi Everybody!>>

So the garage got back to me with bad news on the repair estimate, I can't justify spending over a grand to keep it on the road, and maybe that again every year (IF i can find the parts...)
As luck would have it they had a 96 GTV come in, and the buggers went and lent me it for a weekend test-drive...
and now I'm the proud owner of a GTV, and the Sprint will have to go for spares...

I'll put up an ad tonight in the classified forum.
