Coming back to driving alfa romeo after a long time away! Any advice would be great!
Just become a new member on here I am familiar with alfa romeo from eighties and nineties I know all of the specs of current models but haven't drove one for a long time but I am next week at the dealer, quick background on alfa ownership after having my first car a fiat panda 1000s in early nineties at 17 I traded it in for my first alfa a 33 1.7 cloverleaf in grey with webber carbs I loved it so different and quick at the time and sounded great with a boxer engine, I owned it for 18 months then traded for a mint alfa red 1990 with 20k on the clock 33 16v cloverleaf but as nice as it was it had loads of problems with the electrics then I threw the towel in for about four years and had the usual hot hatches ie 205 1.9gti, 106 rallye, mr2, cosworth, etc.
Then went back to alfa with a 155 wide track t spark great car again had super sprint d tm exhaust fitted and again loved it!
Anyway a long time has past and if have been with bmw for year 330i sport 130i m sport (great) and finally a x5 4.8 is v8 nightmare terrible unrealibilty, so bad got my money back from bmw!! Now I have decided to go back to my youth ha!!
I am now 39 and as many cars as I have had my favourites when they worked ! Lol were my alfas I still have the pics if them!
Anyway my thinking is as alfa have massively improved are on a 10-12 plate giulietta cloverleaf, do you chaps have any thoughts on my decision, driving next week so I will have a better idea then!
I currently am leasing (short term) a citroen c1 after I was burned with my x5 this is going back in a month to eight weeks, any info will be great by current owners of the qv or any other ideas?
