have an astra which my wife is having and I have got an Alfa 145 cloverleaf(2.0l in black) nice!

Are you a real passionate for Alfa Romeo?

I am now, the car I have now its just, well, it, you know, its an Alfa!!! …….
What or how started your passion for Alfa Romeo and…
….do you think it’s fundamental to own one to have the passion?
owning one by accident kick started my passion, now I eat sleep and dream of my alfa, sad I know. But it is my first!!! Anyone can be passionate about Alfa’s, owners or not. Does it matter?
We all have many passions for objects in life some of which we will never own, but it doesn’t mean we cant dream.

Would you ever consider joining an Alfa Club or are you already a member of one?
Apart from AO im not a member of any other Alfa organization, but if everything goes the way I want it to then yes I will join an owners club

What do you like most about Alfas?
Style, power, quality and there seems to be a certain mysterious air about them

What do you like least about Alfas?
the sharp intake of breath you get when telling your local mechanic you need work doing on your alfa

What would be your dream cars?
to be honest ive got it, speed, looks, im just really content with this car and don’t want any other

What car would you least like to drive?
Any 4x4 I hate them!! especially LADA NIVAS or COSSACKS. what are they about?

For you, what’s the most popular thread on AO?
What would be your ideal drive in an Alfa (destination, passenger, driving music, etc)?

My ideal drive?
It would have to be driving around the uncongested roads of Cyprus with my wife listening to that classic by the troggs “no particular place to go”


What interests do you have outside of Alfas?
Currently renovating my house (top to bottom) so we can sell it and move to cyprus


Do you have a party trick? If so what is it?
I can sing like Elvis and can make a drinking glass or bottle stick to a wall without any adhesive

What do you like most about the Alfaowner forum? Any favourite threads, episodes or people?
I am a newbie on AO and everyone I have come across has been really friendly and helpful. It is also a place you can go to if you have time to kill and enjoy

If you had £50,000 you had to spend in 72 hours, how would you choose to spend it?
that’s easy! I would buy lots of bubble wrap, cotton wool and a container so I could take my alfa to cyprus

By 4x4 i mean the big ugly ones that clog up our roads when it is time to take the kids to school
I just think that a normal family car is ample to take 2.4 children to school, not to have the poor kids rattle about inside a big 4x4 like one sock in a washing machine

How can anyone dislike the lovely Lada Niva Cossack? A wonderful all-purpose vehicle? A mini Range Rover! Dead comfy; coil sprung - great!!

I had one between my Suzuki SJ413 and my Triumph TR7!! It went through wheel bearings like you'd never believe (but was serviced at a Citröen garage so I'll say no more) and went everywhere I pointed it in sun, rain, snow, ice etc. etc. Brilliant machine!! I loved it!

Rest of the interview was super - well done Lumpygravy Drat, can't escape the day job!!
