Hello

Hello, i'm new to the forum so thought I'd introduce myself. i used to own a 156 2.5 V6 which i absolutely loved. Due to family I sold it and brought a jeep grand cherokee - slightly different. I have finally managed to sell my jeep and I now want to go back to Alfa's - I want to buy a 156 gta. Does anyone have any specific advice on buying a second-hand gta (things to look for etc.)?

Well Happy Re: Hello

cheers Mike - will let you know how i get on. Must say though, that have enquired with a number of dealers and one sticks out in terms of communication (which most are v. poor at). Black & White in Newbury seem OK and have regular movement of gta's. Have you had any dealings with Veloces of London?

Well Happy Re: Hello

Hi JamieF I purchased mt 156 from Veloce of London 6 Months ago.
I think that a new Salesman had started because they didn't tell me that the car was not taxed , I ran out of petrol before I could get to a garage ( 100 yds from the dealer) and the warranty was not filled out. However all these things were put right and the car is great apart from the odd lamba sensor ( these things are sent to try us) so yes give them a go.
