which cars do you drive and why? Alfa Romeo 166 2.5 Lusso because i love spending hard earned cash on petrol!
Are you a real passionate for Alfa Romeo?
The 166 is my first Alfa and i have to admit, as soon as i got the car, i couldn't help feeling different.
I cant imagine driving anything else now.
What or how started your passion for Alfa Romeo and…
….do you think it’s fundamental to own one to have the passion?
Since passing my test ive always wanted one but was always put off by all the horror storys of the past.
I then decided that my heart should choose my car and set out to buy a GTV but just happened to stumble accross the 166.
If im honest i'd never seen a 166 till i bought mine. The GTV is a great looking car but i feel the 166 is a car that has a WOW factor,
especially mine!
Would you ever consider joining an Alfa Club or are you already a member of one?
Ive thought about joining the AROC but im not sure.
What do you like most about Alfas?
The styling and the V6 engine sound, can't beat it.
What do you like least about Alfas?
Servicing and running costs but the looks compensate for that.
What would be your dream cars?
Ferrari 456 or Aston Martin DB9
What car would you least like to drive?
I already drive my girlfriends Rover 25....need i say anymore!
What would be your ideal drive in an Alfa (destination, passenger, driving music, etc)?
Driving through the swiss alps with Kiera Knightly listening to Steriophonics would be a good day out!
Any humorous Alfa or car-related stories you wish to share with us?
When i was 17 i filled my Escort xr3i up with oil, and i mean up to the oil cap. Then was stopped by the police on my way home. The cop
asked me if i thought i was James Bond with the amount of smoke coming from the back of it.
What interests do you have outside of Alfas?
I enjoy walking Scottish Munroes, Love going out at the weekends and having a hangover on a Sunday. Im trying to get into mountain biking
but god its hard work.

Do you have a party trick? If so what is it?
Yes, i can balance a full pint of lager on my head. I can even walk around the room with it. Impressive eh!
What do you like most about the Alfaowner forum? Any favourite threads, episodes or people?
I enjoy the good banter between people and like the way lots of people give you excellent advice, especially if you are like me and not very handy with spanners.
If you had £50,000 you had to spend in 72 hours, how would you choose to spend it?
I'd buy a 3.2 166 and put the rest of it into a trust fund to pay for the thing over the next three years!
Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
