I have a 1999 GTV.
Love it, but got a problem with the doors.
Something has gone wrong with the central locking and the car locks itself whenever I close the doors.
One day I will lock the keys inside when miles from my spare keys!!
Any ideas??

Re: Hello

Hi DV , try and find out which door it is by closing each in turn, if both sounds like an electrical problem, but its worth removing the door panels and spraying wd40 on the mech and under the rubber boots.
Then you can disconect the door electric,s of the lock you are working on and see if the other door can close without locking.
It sounds like a sticking selenoid on one door, as a last resort you can change the mech over for not to much money, good luck with it, mike
