which cars do you drive and why?
Alfa GT JTS 2.0 manual and DAX 427 COBRA Replica

Are you a real passionate for Alfa Romeo?
Not really. I have always wanted one, but not seen one I really like until the GT. Went looking for an A3 or a Golf and came back with an Alfa!!

What or how started your passion for Alfa Romeo andÖ
Ö.do you think itís fundamental to own one to have the passion?

Dunno really, just fancied one. No you donít have to own anything to be passionate about them/it.

Would you ever consider joining an Alfa Club or are you already a member of one?
Not really bothered, Iím a member of the forum for technical questions and running problems.

What do you like most about Alfas?
1. The noise. 2. The style 3. The reliability (ho ho)

What do you like least about Alfas?
Technical things that take away the driving pleasure. Auto wipers, Auto radio volume, ESP, ABS etc.

What would be your dream cars?
McLaren F1 an original Mk1 in black, like the one I saw win at LeMans

What car would you least like to drive?
Anything French.

For you, whatís the most popular thread on AO?
What would be your ideal drive in an Alfa (destination, passenger, driving music, etc)?

No popular thread, I just keep my eye on the GT page for problems and learn or try to help others.

Any humorous Alfa or car-related stories you wish to share with us?
I span my COBRA at LeMans and clipped the Armco at Porsche Curves on mad Friday, slightly caused by a wet track and half a bottle of Merlot.

What interests do you have outside of Alfas?
My COBRA

Tell us something nobody knows about you. (E.g. special skill, ever been on TV, etc)
I was one of the last people to fly Concorde to New York just before they withdrew her.

Do you have a party trick? If so what is it?
I know all the words and actions to Down Down by Status Quo and I do a mean air guitar.

If you had £50,000 you had to spend in 72 hours, how would you choose to spend it?
Pay a bloke to fit the deck and conservatory that my wife wants in the garden, then sod off on a 1st class holiday to a hot place, until the cash runs out.

One of several, but this was the best as I had an audience of thousands and I didn't do any lasting damage.

Got a huge cheer as I slotted it into 1st and power slid it off the grass and back onto the road.

What a buzz........

Do you do a lot of track mileage in the cobra? It's something I'm really interested in getting into since my recent buzz round Mallory Park in Single Seaters. I could get a taste for that.

Oh yes.

Not really. Couple of drag runs and a sprint meeting. Sprints are good if you are concerned about other tw*ts on the circuit. You are on your own against the clock.
