156 2.0 ts sp2

Hi All

Just got my second 156 - had one as a company car a few years ago and finally got round to buying one.

A bright red 156 ts 2.0 with the sport pack 2 and the big wing on, 6 years old , FSH and only 40K... so finger crossed.

Just been driving one of the new Civics for the last few months, and apart from the hyper cool dash board on it, the Alfa beats it in every way, so much for the Vtec stuff!

So a couple of questions, is Northampton my nearest specialist to Peterborough?

and

The MOT had an advisory for the front bushes, and it does squeak and creak a tiny bit now and again, is this gonna cost me a fortune? or is it doable at home?

Other than that, all seems well. and nice to be back in the Alfa club :-)

Re: Hi All

Hi Frog , if your fairly handy with a set of spanners and have a reasonable grasp of whats involved it is fairly straight forwards to do.............best thing is to get it up on ramps and have a good look at what any problems may be. you can get polly bushes to sharped the handling up, but it somtimes makes the ride a bit harsher, always have a mate to help as two heads and an extra hand can come in handy, good luck with it.
