Wave Newbie Intro.

Hi everyone,

This is my "newbie intro" message to the site just to say Hi really! I am Jay, living in Surrey, driving a 2.4JTD Sportwagon. Its not a bad motor, quicker than i thought a chugger would be, but has the usual italian electrics! I also have a fiat x1/9, and they have lead me to the conclusion that although the Italians may put alot of effort into the looks and style of their motors, the electrics are left to some colourblind chimps to fit in between tea-parties!

Cheers for now, Jay.

Hello Jay, I was born in Surrey, and nearly bought a Fiat X-19 but got an MG Midget instead

Re: Newbie Intro.

Thanks for the warm welcome folks! I am just browsing the site and picking at threads to check the various niggles of my 156. The A/C is up the shoot and i'm leaving this morning to get married and spend some time honeymooning by the sea - so too late to get the spanners out now! Back in a couple of weeks and look forward to chatting then, TTFN Jay.

Re: Newbie Intro.

Oh yes, how rude of me, piccies to follow upon my return! Probably a good move on the MG Gary, my fiat has languished in a garage for a few years having suffered an electrical nervous breakdown! Hope the Alfa doesn't go the same way!! J.
