Good Afternoon

Hi, my name is David and I am a Brand Specialist for a privately owned Franchise Alfa Romeo Dealer, I was brought to this site by a Google link. I have been reading various different Postings and thought I may be able to gain some knowledge of what people think about Us, the product etc.
I also feel as though my 6 year knowledge of the Product may help some of you with issues that you have.
Please feel free to ask me anything you like, within reason!

Regards

David

Re: Good Afternoon

Hello David, welcome to AO and I hope you can help a few people out.

We do have a no commercial adverts policy on here though, so don't post the name of the company you work for if you can help it and you'll get along just fine!

No problem at all. Not intending to try and advertise ourselves. I'm assuming that if one of your members asks me the question I can answer it?

Re: Good Afternoon

It just the term that Alfa Romeo use for a Salesperson/Sales Manager as we only specialise in Alfa Romeo rather than selling everything

Re: Good Afternoon

The Brand being Alfa Romeo and the Specialist being the person specialising in selling that brand.

Certainly!

You can't reply to a question with, for example; 'I can do you a better deal, ring me on XXX' etc, as well as posting the name of the company you work for.

Basically, you're a VERY clued up member who can help us out with advice and to answer queries on the order process, for example.

Here's a question from me...
Is Blue & Me causing problems in the delivery times of new Breras?

Welcome to AO, David

So, do you have any horror stories about nightmare customers blowing up their cars you can share with us?

Re: Good Afternoon

Blue and Me had been causing problems as it replaced the original Bluetooth option but production was delayed as the new system wasn't quite ready. It did delay orders with it specified but Alfa gave us the option to remove it, swap it for original bluetooth or wait. It now appears to have been resolved as cars are coming through with Blue & Me.

Re: Good Afternoon

you mean like the ones that run them out of oil, watch them go bang and fill them up with fresh oil and act all innocent?
Or the guy who is the first customer with a full spec Nuvola White 147 GTA that does 300 miles in it before putting it 100 yards into a field with 4 mates in it!
That sort of thing?

Couldn't reply to your message, too new or something! Maybe I'm a little too obvious using my own name but there again I'm not trying to hide!
Thought it may give me an insight into where we go wrong and to put the dealers point of view across if need be!

Actually I'm surprised that youve not been here before.

So how's life up in sunny N.Yorks David

...and may I also say that the new lady on service caught my eye... Certainly an asset...
