Are you a real passionate for Alfa Romeo?
What do you think?
I'm extremely passionate, you could say i'm really mad haha.

What or how started your passion for Alfa Romeo and…
….do you think it’s fundamental to own one to have the passion?

Err....that's a hard one.
I guess i was born with it, even if my parents didn't have any Alfa.
Only some Fiats.

Fundamental to own one?
No don't think so, i was already active within the scene before i've even owned an Alfa.

Would you ever consider joining an Alfa Club or are you already a member of one?
I'm already member.
Here's the list:

SCARB
VARLN
ARTC155
Squadra33
ARFC (forum-based club)

What do you like most about Alfas?
Technology, styling, handling, history, etc.

What do you like least about Alfas?
Err.....is a model ok?
Then i would say the ARNA, no hard feelings towards the people who like it ofcourse.

What would be your dream cars?
GTV6 (already own one).
ES-30.
Bertone "step front/scalino".
33 Stradale.
And some other thoroughbread italians.

What car would you least like to drive?
VW, Opel/Vauxhall, Mercedes.

For you, what’s the most popular thread on AO?
Don't know

What would be your ideal drive in an Alfa (destination, passenger, driving music, etc)?
Driving thru the italian landscape with some nice bends and hillclimbs together with a beautifull girl, don't need music because the V6 is already the music i need.

Any humorous Alfa or car-related stories you wish to share with us?
Not really, sorry.

What interests do you have outside of Alfas?
Computers, women, italian food, beer, vacation, etc.

Tell us something nobody knows about you. (E.g. special skill, ever been on TV, etc)
I let you guys find that out yourselves, won't say anything.

What do you like most about the Alfaowner forum? Any favourite threads, episodes or people?
The mix of various nationality's, humour, the passion for the brand.
Need i say more

I'm embarrased to say that i'm not a regular poster.

Saluti sportive, Arjan.

Re: The man behind the Forum name, an interview with Arjan.

Thanks for the interview.

I would love to drive a GTV6 someday, so give me a call when you are in the neighboorhood. I have driven a lot of Alfas in my live, but for some reason I never drove a Alfetta GT / GTV / GTV6

I was a passenger a couple of time in a Alfetta GTV though as a little kid. One of my brothers (as in Joost's dad) had one

He did indeed. Sad to say I was too young to remember the experience

@selespeed: You're welcome Hans.
No problem, Veenendaal is it?

@Joost: Oh well....now you're old enough.
What can i say, it's a great car.
And that for a 23 year old bloke who also owns a 155.

But if i have to choose which i like the best, i'd take the GTV6 anyway.
A real car with character in comparison with the most modern day cars imho.

Arjan,

Now that you've let us know who you are, why don't you let us get to know you better by posting a bit more? We need a few more older Alfa drivers to join in the mix and to provide a bit of (proper) perspective.
