urgent help needed if possible??

Hi
i have a 1999 1.8ts alfa 156, it went for mot yesterday, over heated when testing emissions, fan didn't cut in had been disconnected.
Car turned off to cool down fan reconnected.. car would not start again. AA called could not gain access to fault codes via plug, car tow'd home. still won't start.
Injector pic on rev counter no longer lights up, word code with pic of key no longer lights up, have checked fuses, can't see any blown.
Can't afford to take to alfa who will rob me no doubt??? Can anyone out there please help?
The car turns over fine
many thanks

Hello!

Just a simple one this, has a 50% chance of working. Disconnect the engine ecu plugs for about 15 mins(with the ignition off). Check all the earth leads onto the engine and battery and chassis. Also check the fuel cutoff switch under the passenger seat hasn't triggered! Although usually that won't affect the management light. Reconnect ecu plugs and try it.
