newbie

hello everyone
ive just found this forum tonight and it looks like the place to be!!
ive just bought a 156 selespeed picking it up on saturday,ive never owned an alfa before so i,m hope you guys can help me out a bit if i find any problems,im not totally thick when it comes to mechanics but ive no idea about fuel injection and variators ??so please be gentle with me till i find my way around the car.
i was looking on ebay for a workshop manual for it but they all seem to be on cd rom does anyone have any ideas about which ones are good or bad or are they all much the same thanks for any help

Seasons greetings,

there are 2 types on ebay 'dte' and 'elearn'.

dte is good, although the elearn is the newer version (according to AO) and is reportedly better

thanks for the info
theres a cd on there that says its direct from alfa what the trainees use i thought mabye that was the way to go
