New member......

Good evening all.

I need several good sound reasons to persuad my wife to exchange our ageing Fiat Multipla JTD for a late plate 156 2.4 JTD.

I don't need the six seats any more (my kids might disagree) as they are capable of walking!

Any thoughs?

Re: New member......

Where to start? Had mine since December, already put 17k miles on the clock and I am still blown away by it.

Economical (I'm averaging over 45 mpg with most of my miles driven on the motorway)
Cruises like a limo on motorways
Awesome torque and performance makes overtaking safe and effortless
Mine is 12 months old and so far has developed no Alfa rattles or idiosyncracies
Minimal oil consumption by Alfa standards

Also a good looking motor, 2.4JTD engine in demand as more people get on to the benefits. A classic waiting to happen in my view.

If all else fails get her out on a test drive - that should swing it.

Just take your wife out for a test drive in that Alfa, put your foot down and go for it - she won't look back
