In answer to your questions and to ask a few more, the cambelt hasn't been done yet as far as I know - I was under the impression that it was part of the 36k service, mine has only just done 32k, have I got it wrong?
I haven't experienced the infamous scuttle shake I have heard about at high speed, is this a standard thing with the spider or just with the odd few?
As for Photos, I will take a few once I get it back from the Alfa garage, took the oil sump out on a speed bump this morning at 10mph (£350 later...), sueing the council as we speak, in there wisdom they put the illegal oversized hump right in front of a raised manhole on a camber. Is there any sort of casing you can get to protect the exposed bolts, the cast steel casing just sheered off on contact with the manhole, unlike other cars that were just graized.
I wont say what I paid for the love of my roadgoing life, but it was well below the book price of 6k (Calculated by finance co., taking into consideration spec and mileage)
I was lucky enough to be the first to see it though, right place, right time. I have not seen one since with similar mileage and less flaws for less than 8k.
It took me three months of touring the southern half of the country to find mine, there are so many bad ones out there and the good ones sell within hours of advertising with ten to fifteen people chasing them down, it is hard work!
