Hi and welcome.

As you can tell, mine would be happy to have working headlights so I can't help with Selespeed questions. I have read that they tend to be a bit slow on the upshifts.

Hi Lentil & welcome to the forum

I cant speak for the selespeed system on the standard 147 range, but the system fitted to the GTA adapts continously & progressively to your driving style... If you drive gently it changes up & down slowly and seamlessly, but when you're on the pace it punches up and down through the gears very rapidly.

To keep gear changes really smooth you have to feather (lift off) the throttle briefly on up-changes.

Spend a couple of hours on the road learning your system
