Allow me to introduce myself, as mick jagger would say...
I'm living in Holland, in Drachten (you probably dont know where this is; it's sort of 'in the country').
I'm currently employed as a mail delivery man, but only to bridge the gap between two fulltime studies. As of september 2006, i wil be studying at the dutch school of journalism in Zwolle. (Again, you probably dont know where that is...).
Now, on to the important bit, the car. I've owned it since september 2005.
It's a black alfa romeo 33, with the 1.4 Boxer engine under the bonnet. It drives like nothing else, and that's why i'm driving alfa - even if it does cut my limited student budget. I'd rather drink one beer less a week and drive this dream, if that's what it takes
It's in really good shape, save for some rust on the usual places. (front driver(left, for me) side wing, around fuel cap.)
Even thoug it's a 14 year old car, it really drives like a new one does. Even gearchanging goes smooth - well, as smooth to be expected, it probably wasn't perfect when it left the factory - and there is'nt much of a rattle inside the cabin.
I love driving it. It way beats my mums suzuki swift and my dad's hyundai getz. It even beats my old suzuki swift gti, and that does mean something.
I will be owning this car for about a year to come, probably. After that (i will get it a new APK (in britain its a MOT) once, and drive for a year after that, and it'l be half 2007 by then.) i would like to buy something to drive greater distances in. (I want a 146 on LPG (is it called LPG in the UK as well ?) or a 156 (again, on LPG, but maybe diesel is an option as well, depending on used prices. Used cars are way overpriced in holland, thank you prime minister.)
Hm. sorry for the long piece of text....
