Hi, I have been lurking around the forum for a little while ever since I fell in love with of course the Giulietta. I have been commuting for the last two years on trams (which has saved me a ton of cash to be fair) so although I have a car; an 08 Clio; its mainly my partners and she has been using it 90% of the time so I've not really had time to admire potential cars on the road for myself.
However thanks to a fortunate accident, the tram I was on broke down in Manchester city center so I decided to walk a few stops and walked past the 'Bauer Millett' showroom and they had 3 Giulietta's out the front in Black, white and red and they all looked beautiful
and I fell in love, although I have admired the GT in the past it just didn't grab me the same.
So like many others I am new to Alfa's having never owned one yet, I have seen a few threads of people in the same boat as me being drawn to Alfa because of the Giulietta and I do realise that they don't give people the same reasons to buy an Alfa that they used too as many members have pointed out. But they seem too great of a car (in my budgets) to pass by, even if many reviewing sites/magazines haven't been too kind to them, but when they are comparing/benchmarking them to a Golfs all the time these reviews mean nothing to me as I have no interest in a golf as they just scream boring to me sadly.
I have spent some time saving hard to try and secure myself one of these beauties and I'm probably a couple of months away from spending the cash so I think it's time I took an active part in the forum and make sure I have all the information I need to make the right purchase.
So thanks for having me and look forward to your help, being an active member and hopefully owning an alfa soon
