Hi. Just joined the club
The plan was to buy a Toyota GT86 sometime in the Autumn. With only having the pleasure of driving my van I decided I had to have something to fill the gap. So I went and got myself a ok ish GTV TS. It had been pretty well looked after for the last 5 or so years and had an engine rebuild and clutch replaced as well as other bits along the way. Got to say that this little 1999, with 95k car has just been a joy to own and drive. A few things have been done include a spot of that glorious red paint. Took a drive from Falmouth to my old home town of Bristol this weekend for BIAMF. Apart from the city's roads doing their best to destroy the car, it was well worth the drive.
Any way the decision has been made. Why would I want to just make monthly payments on a new GT86 (without doubt a lovely car), when, even though I am not a real hands-on owner, I can not just enjoy driving, but do a bit of 'tinkering' and enjoy owning this little beauty!
Just need new suspension now after the trip!!
