alfa 155 2.0 16v new project

hi i'm just getting into cars and bought a 155 for its reputation on the racing circuit. My alfa over heat, and i think it needs a new radator. i have replaced the clutch, and service parts. I have also bought a service manual from ebay. Any suggestions on the overheating engine.

I am also going to replace the exhust, but im not sure if i should put a performance one on or the original.

Re: alfa 155 2.0 16v new project

Hi Frost, welcome to AO - show us some pics of the car

the over heating may be the radiator, see what condition the fins are in, its probably at least 8 years old and a bit tired, other things could be that the thermostat is stuck in the closed position but this is more unlikely. What engine does it have?

a stainless steel performance exhaust is usually my preference, it will sound better and last longer and worth the initial higher price in my opinion.
