Firstly a big thank you to everyone on the forum, i've been reading loads of threads as a guest over the past few months while debating a new car, suffice to say you helped my decision... Collected my first ever Alfa Romeo last Friday, and first impressions are superb!
After much consideration (and budget increases...
) i decided to hunt down a 159Ti, 2.4 Jtdm. Found what seems to be a cracker, only 31000 miles and looks brand new. Decided to have the DPF removed on advice here and from the garage, and had it remapped at the same time. Collected it last weekend and am loving it so far, stunning to look at and a lot of fun to drive, best engine note from a diesel i've heard yet.
I've upgraded from a tdci mondeo, though extremely dull to look at was actually a damn good car, gave me 2 years almost free motoring so no complaints, but it was time for something more than just a tool to get around the place. So far so good, sure i'll be a regular visitor to this site as i get used to the new toy and doubtless get thoroughly confused by things at times!
