Brera 2.4 JTDM stalling, no power 1 & 2nd gear - help please

Hi All
Im new to this site, so looking for some help or advice please.

My Brera suddenly died on me the other day. Would not go but started. Took to my local mechanic who changed Oil Filter, Glow Plugs, Air Filter, Fuel Filter and put new oil in. - However, there now seems to be no power once i change from 1st gear to 2nd gear and at the traffic lights it stalled but seemed ages to get the rev's up.

Has anyone had this experience and could you please let me know how to resolve. I bought the car 9 months ago and have a 12 month warranty on the car. Any advice would be grateful. Thankyou

Mine does on me after three days of ownership turned out to be a faulty EGR valve! AA guy turned up, tapped it and it started first time! Took it to Alfa dealer who changed it under warranty and it was fine.
