Hello to all.
Finally got round to posting.
I've had the Alfa virus for a number of years now.
After building and running a Westfield for a couple of years I realised I was too old for a cramped, impractical, open car.
Sold the Westfield and a short while later bought a 2.0 TS GTV.
After a lot of sorting this became a pretty good example.
Just for a laugh my son and I decided to do a novice track-day evening session at Bedford Autodrome - Brilliant!
Since then we've done a number of days at Snetterton, our local circuit, and last year we took it to the Nurburgring and did a few laps. So much for Alfa reliability problems. During all this activity it never let us down once.
The GTV has now been traded in for my wife's new baby (Fiat 500) and my Son and I have bought a tired 2.5 156.
The long term plan with the V6 is to create a road legal car that can be driven to circuits, batted round and driven home. Short term plan is tidy it up and get an MOT.
I have a few questions about what can be removed and still be ok for MOT which I will post in technical soon.
Hello again to all
