Toe in the water ...

I'm just a shy, Alfa-curious newbie who's having a weird mid-life crisis in the form of being lured away from my usual obsession with Japanese reliability. Having spent a year and a half driving a Clio (don't) I am now intrigued by the Alfa mystique - and wondering if the stories, good and bad, are true.

Hello and welcome!

I hope you are having a peruse of the various technical lounges, but I suspect that the answer to your question is yes and no!

As you can see from my signature I have a fairly long Alfa history (17 years and counting) and al my Alfas have been spectacularly reliable and real hoots to drive. Others seem to have more problems.....

Alfa's are a bit different to all/most of the competitors, having more character to them.

Anyway, enjoy reading here, go for a test drive or two and join the ranks of Alfisti!

Alfa History: 145 1.7, GTV2.0, GTV 3.0 V6, Brera 2.4 JTDm
