Hello from Western Australia
Hello AR Forum readers.
Having found mysely directed to this Forum whilst searching for information on 105 Alfas, I thought it would be agood idea to sign up and possibly participate in some of the exchanges.
Cars are one of my major interests (weakness) and I have now probably accumulated enough projects to avoid boredom for the next few decades (or until I can no longer grab a spanner, cut out rust or weld panels).
As far as I'm concerned the Alfa 105 family is very high in motoring nobility but also must be open in admitting that other breeds occasionally take my fancy!
Currently in my shed are:
1968 Giulia TI, rebuilt 1600 engine from GT and other tasteful modifications to bring it to Super+ specs. Road registered to become my daily driver.
1974 2000 GTV - ex race car but rebuilt to (almost) standard with nicer 1750 bits. Almost ready for registration.
1971 1750 GTV - almost a basket case with roof damage (rolled) and rust but I have been (re)inspired by some of the threads on this and other restoration forums - if its metal it can be fixed! This car is possibly GTA or GTAm replica material - but possibly grp not alloy.
I'm looking forward to sharing some of my trials and tribulations but will continue to be spending a lot more time in the shed than in front of the screen.
All the best for now.
