These can be a bit of a devil, they need a 15 Torx to remove but if they're too rusty you will have to drill them out. If you drill new holes then it won't line up with the holes in the plastic strip sewn into the base of the new section unless of course you make new holes in the canvas and plastic liner. If you do this use a hand held leather punch, (the sort you use to put extra holes in a leather belt), as otherwise if you try to drill it you will just chew up the canvas and ruin the plastic liner. Remember the original holes are threaded so you will need a tap and die set. If you use self tappers so not exceed the length of the original screws, this is especially important for the ones at each end as they go in from the top and if they are too long they will damage the clam hood cover.
