Wanted to ask !!!! who out there would ditch there 'Alfa' regardless of all the hicups they give us?????? .... i am in love with mine and no matter how many probs it gets ..... 'I'm in' for the long haul. i have a 156 selly and yes it broke down recently but .... you know what???? it pales into insignificance all the times i have driven past people like a formula 1 driver and left them spinning there heads. here in Australia where every man and his dog has a V8 commodore it is refreshing to see the face of these 'hoons' when something so stylish passes them when they least expect it. The issues 'We' have are the same as theirs its just when their gearbox goes the parts are lets just say 'simple' ours are complex but if you weigh up the expenses ours are twice as much but there cars break down twice as much ....... and i suppose we have twice as much chance of getting home before the car 'carks it' so to speak ..... and at least we break down with style ......... so next time you are sat waiting for the tow truck in sumptuous leather upholstery and opulent surrounding feeling sorry for your choice spare a thought for the less fortunate that chose to buy a car that every one in their suburb owns ........ ''G'day mate" "G'Day" "Hows the Holden?"," Good mate yours".
