Pioneer AVIC 910BT - Alfa Brera

Hello,
2 years ago I bought the AVIC 910BT for my Brera and for 2 years it worked fine, then a few weeks ago the screen cut off without warning and rebooted some time later. It has now worked in this way for the last few days cutting off at any given time and sometimes staying shut off for 30 minutes. Does anyone know if this is an electrical problem with the Brera or (more likely) a problem with this particular unit? I have seen a thread that said that the AVIC 910 has hadproblems and the 920 is better? Any thoughts welcome.
