Hello, Newbie in Kent

Thought it best to introduce myself first before bombarding people with questions.

So.. I'm 39 live in a small village in Kent, my main passions are Motorbikes and Football (Forest fan) you can see my Fireblade in my avatar, I mainly ride on the road but like to get a few trackdays in during the warmer weather.
I've never owned an Alfa before but tmrw I'm going to view a 156 Sportwagon 2.5 v6 Q System, all being well I will be the owner of it by this time tmrw.

After trawling through the net, it seems you either get a very good Alfa or a very bad one, are they the equivalent of a Ducati in the car world..

Any obvious things I should be looking for ?

Hello and welcome to AO......
Nice Blade, had one of the earlier ones, 2000 929, but now retired from road riding and get an adrenalin rush from track days on my Ducati......

Look for the typical recipe for a well looked-after car: lots of service history, lots of clean oil, and a passionate owner who talks to his cars.

Just like a bike really. Welcome to AO

So I eventually collected it two weeks ago with a fresh MOT & no advisories been a little busy at work so this is the first chance I've had to get any pictures up of it.

First impressions are good, a bit thirstier than expected, done nearly 400 hundred miles in it so far and all is well, apart from the Radio won't pick up 5live or anything other than FM stations, but I think a DAB is the way forward so will deal with that in time.
