I'm fairly "new" to this site, been lurking around the past 2 weeks scavenging for information.
I have now purchased my first Alfa, even though i have driven loads of Alfas because my dad is a Alfa nut, and i am too.
Now i am the lucky owner of a brand new used 2001 Alfa Romeo 156 2.0TS Selespeed.
I was kinda skeptical to the Selespeed system, as i prefer manuals, but a testdrive later and i was hooked. And another reason i got it was because of how beautifully well kept the car was.
And now i am here, looking for techy stuff so i can fix the Selespeed when it goes wrong.
I have bought a diagnostic cable, and am looking to get Alfadiag (can't find the buy button on their site)
Earlier today i did the ECU reset trick, and the car feels so much better. More responsive, smoother gear changes, and more torque at the bottom. Love this car
Looking forwards to asking you guys lots of stupid questions in the future and sharing the ups (mostly) and downs of driving and maintaining these beautiful machines
