Finally I am a real petrol head. So they say.

hi all, they say you are not a real petrolhead till you've owned an Alfa and I am certainly a petrolhead, but had never owned an Alfa.

My list of previous car crimes is long including; supercharged Morris Minor, cobra rep, porsches, tr6, mk2 escorts, jags and daimlers, and the list goes on for miles. I often have 3 or 4 toys at a time and my wife permits it with only a slightly strained smile!

Well my new purchase is a 2000 W Alfa 156 2.0 twinspark that was Autodelta J11 by first owner and it has now done 27k miles.

Car is a peach but very unloved for last 6 years by last owner who didnt really deserve the car if you know what I mean.

I will post pics up in time of the car as I progress with its tidy up and servicing. At the mo its pink (not red), damaged skirts, cigarette smell interior and unloved all round and I am planning a full respray and love up.

By the way I am a garage owner which makers it all easy for me to do. On forums I am normally known as superchargedfool but this board wouldnt let me have a name that long so chargedfool will have to do, I am known for supercharging diy styley old cars as a bit of a habit.

There you go, thats me, my new toy and hello to all for now, cheers peeps.

Hi, a warm welcome from the Lincs Mob !!!

We are quite an active little group here so it would be very nice to see you in the Lincs Lounge and at some of our Meets soon. Lots of these coming up, some great ones coming up over the next few Months.

Our next Lincs Meet is a Saturday Afternoon out at the Newark Air Museum on the 31st March. We are getting into the Museum and our cars will be part of the days attractions, an ideal chance to show off your Car ! Follow the Link and check it out. (Lincs Afternoon Meet Newark Aviation Museum.)

Our “ regular “ Meets are usually ( but not always ) on a Thursday evening and are scattered around the County and these are interspersed with our “ special “ Meets throughout Spring, Summer and Autumn. In the Winter I tend to go for Saturday afternoon Meets, the Scalextric Championship, amongst others, is a great afternoon out. We have a lot of Events coming up again during this year, some of them are just Beer and Chat type things but a lot of very special ones too, we don’t get bored here in the Flatlands. Keep an eye on the Lincs Lounge for full details.

You might want to add your details on to the “ Names, Locations and Cars “ Thread too, I generally don’t do this unless people “ask “ in there, don’t wish to give away any secrets !

Follow the Links to see what is going on and join in, I can pretty much say that you won't regret it. Apart from myself everyone else in the Lincs Section are very nice people.........

From the Lincs Lounge also follow Links and see what we have been up to in the past, some cracking Meets and some great pictures.

Don't forget to look at the " Stickies " right on top of the Lincs Lounge page.

Have you seen the Lincolnshire Lounge ? Don't stay off the radar, come on in and have a look !

Next Event - TBA
