Taken the plunge

Finally, after several years of wondering, I'm now going to find out about owning an Alfa.

Just given back my Saab 9-3 convertible lease car and to replace it I pick up a 2007 159 2.4 automatic, in wonderful red.

I know my way around cars and like to do lots of stucc myself, as a result I'll be stalking the forums on here.

Still got some other cars;

1. Peaugot 306 Cabrio
2. Radical SR3 which we do track days on (2 chums and I)
3. MG ZS 2.5V6 which we use on track when it's raining.

Had millions of other cars over the 35 years I've been driving, but there is always something new to try!

Am I going to enjoy my 159 as much as I have convinced myself.

Hello and welcome to AO.....
Is your Radical as fast as the one that beat the lap record at MIRA?....faster than the Ariel Atom V8 and the Veyron........

No the SR3 is a 1500cc engine, the one you're thinking of will be the SR8 which has a 2.5/2.6 V8 engine derived from 2 x 4 cylinder blocks.

Welcome to AO. Imo you will be enjoying the 159 more than the Saab. It's just a great car.
Oh the Radical, just nail it and enjoy. One of the few cars that has a rev band higher than mine. Lol
Have fun.
