Well I had a look at and drove the 3.2 V6 and I have to admit it was quite a nice ride, nice acceleration, nice engine note, superb handling, however being so late onto the market they are very rare if not impossible to find a reasonable ex demo. This one had 18000 klms on the clock by the time I got to see her. Ah well probably wasnt meant to be...
Drove the 2.4 Diesel and was absolutely blown away by its acceleration and kick over the 1500 rev mark. I knew it had massive torque but this was very impressive.
Decided to go brand new and put a deposit down on a Black 2.4 JTD Ti with sunroof ( you have to have a sunroof down here) lol
At least the inline 5 pot diesel engine is more ALFA source than the GM V6 so I suppose I can console myself with that fact
I pick her up tomorrow at the dealers on the way to the Hunter Valley ( about a 4 hr drive). Hopefully a constant rev drive like that wont adversly affect its running in.
