Just thought I'd pop my head above the parapet and say a quick hello. Currently own/drive a Z4M Coupe and a Mini Cooper S. The Cooper S is a daily driver, but I'm thinking of trading/selling it for a Mito 170 QV.
Been reading through the threads on here with a lot of interest. I don't tend to keep my cars standard for long and I'm interested to see what can be done with a QV. I've noticed a few people in the MiTo forums seem a little"anti-modification", however I don't see myself buying one without making a few changes. I hope this doesn't mean I will be vilified for saying such things, as this seems a very good source of information for Alfa lovers!
Anyway, my current dilemma is whether to opt for an earlier, higher spec'd model, or break into the piggy-bank and opt for a brand new car with those gorgeous Sabelt seats. I am baulking at the price of £21k+ for a super-mini though!
I've had a good couple of hours in one now though thanks to Lipscomb Alfa, and it certainly *feels* like it's worth it however! lol
Off to Monza Sports next weekend to look at their Carbonio demo, to see what can be done with a little tuning and really sell me on the car once and for all.
Anyway, no doubt i'll be lurking on here for a few more weeks yet, and certainly longer should I go ahead with a purchase!
