I'm the proud new owner of a beautiful red Spider 2.2 JTS. This is a return to Alfa after six years with an Audi TT which was a great little car but didn't make my heart skip a beat when I looked at it like this and my previous Spider TS did. The new one is red with black leather and my previous one was black with red leather - both stunning cars. I bought my first Alfa against my hubby's preference for german cars due to Alfa's poor reputation for reliability issues. He was proved wrong on the first Spider which was no trouble at all, however reading the threads here I am starting to get nervous (tyres, fuel economy etc etc) plus its going back into the dealer for three days tomorrow due to ignition warning light problem. Please tell me I haven't made an awful mistake! I want to love this car for a long time but I'm getting worried.
I'm looking forward to reading the threads on getting Blue&Me to work with my ipod and interested in the remapping idea - although that is a completely new thing to me.
Oh and the other thing that has just happened today: as the Spider is wider than my TT and previous Spider it wouldn't fit into the garage with ease so I let my hubby have the garage and he has just damaged his beemer badly as he misjudged the space!
Feeling really bad about that, although relieved it wasn't me. Price of a wider garage door now not looking so bad!
