Wave New boy!

Hi to all.

Have just joined. Please feel free to check out my profile. Driving 2001 Spider 2,0TS Lusso which is beautiful.

I know one or two owners have fitted the Ecotek P-26, but have any 2.0TS GTV or Spider owners had a go?

About to fit (this weekend) powerflex bushes to rear damper and spring arms.

Hello & welcome Anansi.

Are you talkin about an Ecotec Valve?

Had one on my last car, still considering putting one on my alfa?

Its a 2.0 TS as well so would be interested in any views!

Hi there,

Yeap, the Ecotek CP-26 valave. Problem is finding a suitable vacuum pipe to install the valve. Its not as if there is masses of room under the hood in that area anyway!

Hi Throttleman,

Please look in the Members Garage for pictures. Incidently, I have just installed powerflex bushes on th rear spring and damper lower swing arms. They all push out using a 10 ton press (some needed a little heat to start them off). The powerflex inserts push in by hand, and I used a nylon mallet to insert the metal bush inserts. Will be installing the Ecotek Valve in next few days (when I have worked out the best vacuum pipe to tap into, and I will be installing an alloy front top mount strut brace next weekend (Sparco).

We swapped our 2001 Spider TS for a 147 earlier this year.Hope you enjoy yours as much!
Let us know your thoughts on the powerflex bushes,so I can add them to the GTV/Spider buyers guide (see GTV lounge)
