The new guy

Hello, I'm the new guy. I'm a 20-something man from Norway and I ordered my first Alfa last week. Actually, it's not only my first Alfa but it is also my first car altogether.

I walked by the dealership today in hope of spotting my new car and to my great joy it was already there. It still has to be registered and stuff so there's a few more weeks until I can pick it up.

Attached is a few pictures I took today. The car has the 1.4 litre TB 120bhp engine. I didn't really have the money for a more powerful engine because car prices are so insanely steep here in Norway. For instance, the QV will set you back about 72,000..

The car has some options by the way. It is the 120bhp TB engine. It has some packs which in Norway is referred to as Distinctive and Sport pack. They contain the following options:

* Duo-zone A/C
* Rear parking sensors
* Radio/CD-player (obviously)
* Cruise Control
* Sports steering wheel with remote controls
* Blue&Me
* Chrome effect window sills
* Electric windows
* Dark tinted windows
* Fog lights
* Front and rear armrest
* Heated seats (Norway is cold in the winter)
* Height adjustable seats
* Sports-suspension
* 225/45/R17 Turbine rims and wheels
* 205/55/R16 Turbine rims and winter tyres
* Aluminum sports pedals
* Darkened interior headlining
* Satin effect wing mirrors
* Darkened headlights
* Sideskirts
* Dark leather and microfiber upholstery with red seam and Alfa logo on the front headrests

In other words a little bit of mix of the british packs, most closely resembling the Veloce. What I'm most dissappointed about missing out on is the red brake calipers, Bose stereo and bi-xenon headlights but that would've cost me a bit more and would've taken months to deliver as opposed to the 3 weeks delivery on this car. I was also offered a wine red Giulietta with the same options as the one I've ordered except it also had bi-xenons and a Bose stereo. It had served as a demo car for 17,000km and when offered to me for the same price as the brand new car I had to pass even though it had a few options extra.

The price? Only 36,900 delivered and including taxes (of which there are a LOT).
