Newbie running a GT on home made Biodiesel

Evening all.
Purchased my first Alfa a month or so back, a 56 plate 1.9 GT. What a change from the Vauxhalls I've been stuck in for the last 12 years! I'm 41 and have been making my own Biodiesel for 8 years and the Alfa seems to like it.
From what I've read already I seem to have the usual sort of niggles, gear stick doesn't centre up properly, squeaky parcel shelf etc but nothing too drastic.
Guess I should get reading some more.

Wasn't expecting three replies and 24 views in the newbie section in 24 hours!

Regarding the biodiesel, I'll start a thread sometime over the next week or two. I must be careful what I say as we all know that the speed limit in the UK is 70mph but I must say that even running on Biodiesel he gets there very quickly. (My GT is named after my neighbour from my childhood. He was a larger than life character who has recently died prematurely from cancer. He had an alfa, I'm not sure what model but it definately said alfetta, it was back in the late seventies/ early eighties. It was the mutts and to top it all his name was William Robert Watts and the reg was WRW 666. This was back in the days when people didn't really bother with private plates! Top, top bloke and hence my GT is called Bill in his honour).

Bio in a GT? Now that would interest me! Doing 20K+ miles per year, even in a diesel it is expensive!

Good luck with it.
