Hi Everybody

Hey everybody im Vinnie

Just thought i would pop in and say hello.

I have just bought a 1999 156 with the superb 2.5 V6 engine, and its an automatic (not selespeed).

I have bought the car as a project as it needs a little work, mainly welding

My main car is a highly Modified Mazda RX8, so im used to performance based cars and owning something a little less ordinary.

I do have a few issues with the Alfa, that i would like some help with if thats ok with you guys/gals.

Mainly common faults like ABS and Airbag warning lights. I would also like some advise on code readers as i know the pre 2000 cars use a different protocol to later ones.

and any other advise would be grately received.

The car did have a majour powerloss issue at low revs, but i have since found that the flexible section of the air intake was wrecked, so was sucking fresh air straight into the intake, so im guessing the mixture was effected and was impacting power. Im still trying to find a replacement flex section.

Anyway ill shutup now and wait for any advise you may like to share.

And off course if anybody wants any advise on Rotary engines, then im your man
