New GTV owner

Hi again, i did introduce myself a little while back but have since been lurking in the background until finally this weekend i took the plunge and got myself a GTV.

so here she is, a 69k mile V6,

I'm totally in love, didnt want to leave her parked up at the station this morning when i went in to work.

As with all italian cars, she has a few little niggly problems, the airbag light decided to come on the day after i got her, and the doorcards have some marks where it looks like the seatbelt gets caught between the door and the seat and the bonnet has a few stonechips. Apart from that everything else is fantastic, runs very well and looks beautiful.

hopefully with the help of the forum, i will be able to sort out the minor problems. looking forward to meeting up with some of you soon.

Hi new GTV owner. I have earlier model, T Reg. 90k. Identical colour and shape but without spoiler on back.
I know exactly how you feel. Had mine 3 years, call it Alfie! Spent loads of money on it, but when sorted boy does it run well. Enjoy. lady s.

thanks for the welcome Lady and Al,

Im undecided on the spoiler still, i was really looking for one without but it is growing on me now.

a couple of other things i have noticed in my 3 days of ownership,

the steering lock is absolutely terrible, can see myself having to do lots of 7 point turns.

the rear window is pretty useless too, especially when it rains a bit

she's a lot quieter than i was expecting, so my first mod will definately be a decat and quad exhaust.
