Chilling Hi to everyone

After being a dyed in the wool biker, and not owning a car for over 15 years, I thought the time had come to 'cross to the other-side' and experience comfort and warmth.

But which car? most of the cars on offer were similar looking, nothing stood out, predictably bland......and then I saw a test c/o Clarkson,Hammond and May on the ***** 159 Brera...OMG, what a beautiful looking car.I decided to look into *****'s 'ont tinternet' and decided the model I could afford would be the 156.

As to the colour,it had to be ***** Red.After weeks of trawling e bay and auto trader, I found a virtually mint red 2004 156 1.8 twin spark (facelift version)with a genuine 28k,service history...and that was that, LOVE.

I like the handling, and power past 3500rpm,comfort is great, and I don't get wet when it rains now, brill. I have it booked into a local recommended alfa specialist,Ferdis at Lytham St Annes, for a sevice and check over, and I look forward to many enjoyable times.
I even go out for drives like I do on the bike, looking for those fast sweeping back roads, complete with permanent grin....I don't have to stop for a fag either !!
