Nervous Hello from l'Irlanda del Nord

Hi all my name is Johnny Simpson and I am the proud owner of my now 2nd Alfa so I must be getting the bug.

I had a 2.2 JTS Spider which I have just changed for a 159 TI Sportwagon. Love both cars, have had a lot of up and downs with the Spider, but I am stil driving an Alfa and wish to do so for a mighty long time.

I am not sure what else to say right now but lok forward to learning lots more about the marque, gaining some technical knowledge (well being able to nod more intelligently next time my brother in law explains how a Cam Shaft works) and meeting people etc... Please say hello.

Greetings and welcome aboard the good ship AlfaOwner

Interesting that you've already an Alfa but haven't registered on here before, does that mean that it was << shock / horror >> reliable?

Anyway, enjoy Alfa number two, those 159s are beautiful.

Welcome to AO, Johnny!

This may seem like a long shot, but does the '68 in your user name refer to the year you were born?
If so, did you go to school with Michael Boyd & Peter Crabbe?

Thanks to all for the kind words and replies.

Thanks everyone who has said hello so far.

To clarify 2 points out of 2 of the questions posed.

1 NO the first Alfa was anything but realiable but I was only becoming accustomed to the Alfa ways lol and did not know all the resource or suppport groups available :-)

2 Yes I was born in 1968 mental age howver has not progressed beyond 1988and not I don;t believe I know those guys.

Velcome Mr Simpson.
Shame your spider was unreliable, such a pretty car, but great to hear you stuck with the marque regardless.
The 159 is a very nice car indeed.
Best of luck with everything.
