From VW to Alfa..

After 8 years and 5 different VW's (2 Golf's and 3 Passat's).. i've finally taken the plunge and bought a 2009 159 JTDm 150bhp lusso... I've always loved Alfa's but never had the courage to go for one..
I have to say, I am more then impressed so far with it. Compared to my 2006 Passat 2.0 TDI, which the wife now drives, the build quality of the Alfa is superb along with the handling and ride.. Looking forward to many happy miles with it.

I have one problem though, the previous owner must have had a large bunch of keys as the aluminium dash underneath where the key fob goes is badly scratched.. I think I'll have to get a new one..

Fuel economy is as expected though... i.e Bad but I knew this buying the car anyway.
getting 48 mpg on a 65 mile motorway drive which I do 6 times a week.. but normally its around 40-42mpg on short trips...

Welcome, Podge.
I don't mean to be rude, but do you have a twin brother called Rodge, who lives with you in Ballydung?
