I found the forum while searching for answers on the dreaded Blue&Me
and thought I'd better join up. I took delivery of my new Brera 2.0JTDM in October, but before you roast me for the choice of engine, it's a company car, and they insisted I get a diesel (and not the 2.2). Considering the boring BMWs and Audis in our fleet I think I did pretty well to get an Alfa Red Brera with tan leather and dark 18" Brera S-style wheels! She's not the quickest thing on 4 wheels, so I hope to get an ECU upgrade and free up some bhp.
My previous Alfa ownership involved an awesome (and mega-cheap) 155 V6. Cracking engine in a faded half-pink genius of a car
I've also owned 2x Integrales and a 308GTS in my time. I love Italian cars.
So, a couple of questions for you all:
1) Are Autodelta the people for ECU tuning? Has anyone else chipped the 2.0 JTDM in a 159 or Brera? What results might I get?
2) Is there a quick fix so that I can play the Spotify files off my iPad through the stereo of my Brera (standard stereo, not satnav)?
3) If you wanted to get an old, cheap Alfa to track-prep, what would you buy? 164CV? GTV? 75?
PS I'm considering selling wife/dog/house to raise the deposit for a 4C
