Evening everybody!

Just to say a quick Hi to everyone on AO. Iím new to this neck of the woods but not new to Alfa ownership and the strangely irrational things that owning a GTV V6 for the last six and a half years can do to your head, heart and wallet. Iím a self confessed petrolhead and have owned a number of different mildly bonkers makes and models over the years but no other marque has pushed my buttons in the same way that my 2002 3.0 V6 can and still does. It frequently frustrates the hell out of me with its idiosyncratic niggles but the beautiful Pininfarina design and the sound of that stunning V6 have me truly hooked, much to the bemusement of my family and friends.

I used to be a member of the gtvv6/sportsalfa forum before it unfortunately descended into a childish battle of egos so itís nice to see that thereís a greater sense of team spirit and loyalty to the Alfa brand here on the AO site.

All the best, see you on the forums or perhaps at a future meet.

Thanks Nigel and cheers to you Stu for making me aware of the rep for my area. The last meet I went to was the Italian day at Gaydon back in '05 or '06 which seems like a lifetime ago now.

Hi and welcome. Yes this forum is great, helpful and very funny at times. Everyone loves their Alfa's, even though at times they can be frustrating. You probably won't need much advise, but will probably be able to help those of us that do. Do post some pics of the V6.
