Enchanted new Alfa Romeo owner says, Hello
Hi everybody, firstly, allow me to thank everyone for all the freely available information that is available here.
I read everywhere, that if you like cars, an Alfa must feature at some time in your motoring life. Since I first got my licence, I've been a bit of a Jag man, but now, maybe time to add some Italian flair to the neighbourhood. So what am I waiting for! Really shouldn't drive the Accord for the rest of my days. Ought to get an Alfa, sooner rather than later!
In the past few months I have spent hours and hours reading all the do's and don'ts here. I could probably achieve a degree in Alfaness.
What happens next? I finally find a car I fancy, it's only about 30 miles away, instead of the usual 3 to 4 hundred. I arrange to see it.
Seduced by teledials and rear wing!!! Dark blue embossed leather, and you won't believe this; the rear seats have never been sat in! Must be a 1st. Wow! All this and less than 70k miles. Must, must, must have!
Dubious history, squeaks over every bump, (It's because it is seldom used! Just needs a bit o'spray!) will go away with use. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Air-con probably just needs a re-gas! MOT advisories? Nah mate, we don't keep'em, I think it needed a new bulb or sumfink!
I'm now the owner of some sort of road rocket. A blue one!!
But, my goodness, this is a looker. Cute, isn't the word.
This new projectile, outside my front door, has entranced me! I now happily, drive 20 miles just to change the parking space.
For those patient enough to still be reading, it's a -----------------
1999 GTV V6 24V Six Speed Lusso,
You will all no doubt, be pleased to learn (that with your agreement) I will be trying to pick your brains in the coming months, so I would like to take this opportunity to thank you in advance and ask you to bear with me, for any soppy questions I may be ask. It goes without saying, that should the occasion arise, I will be delighted to pass on anything that I may learn.
Please forgive my ramblings.
Kindest and all the best,
