Not sure what extra kit the 2008 Limited Edition had over the standard version, but if it has auto lights you'll see on the upper left hand stalk (light controls) the lowest setting with a light symbol and an "A" for auto. Turn the knurled knob down to this setting and the lights will come on when the sensor detects low ambient light levels.
The give away for whether a rain sensor is fitted is a square black plastic box about 3.5cms x 3.5cms attached to the left hand side of the rear view mirror. The sensor side obviously faces the windscreen and detects the rain drops to trigger the wipers to go on. The knurled knob on the right hand stalk (wipers) has various settings which look like they control the speed on intermittant wipe (which they do on non rain sensores cars). With the rain sensor, however, they are meant to alter increase/decrease the sensitivity to rain. Not fantastic have to say in my experience as the wipers seem to have a mind of their own! On balance, I think I prefer the standard fully controllable intermittant setup!
Hey - though - enjoy. Nice nice car. You'll be like a pig in poo in the summer. BTW, did you get a manual with the it? If so, most of this stuff is in there (and plenty more). Otherwise the AO Forum is the place to be!
Defo go back to the dealer is they sold the car with this kit and it's not there. Big no no under Trade Descriptions etc...
