GTV V6 24Valve

Hi to the italian fan club!

Just a quick hello to all those of you who frequent these pages, I've just bought my first Alfa after selling my beloved Porsche 911 carrera which unfortunately had to go for financial reasons. I'd always fancied a GTV but back then they were too expensive for me so now here I am ten years later with my first one, a black 1999 3L V6 24V and I have to admit it has been quite a revelation. It feels as quick as my carrera and handling is spot on too, certainly a safer bet and not likely to end up facing the wrong way coming off roundabouts in the wet either! ............So looking forward to doing the odd little jobs which the car needs, mainly minor trim and seal attention which I'm sure you people will have loads of priceless knowledge on.

Good to be here,
Ian. (AKA Ravioli)

Thank you for the warm welcome peeps', think my first task is going to be sorting out the front electric windows as they never seem to consistantly park quite right at the top and often clip the top edge of the door seal. A gentle thumb press sees them pop home so I guess I'll be first adjusting the top park switch or fitting new supple door seals.
